Vinyl Flake

Our 5-coat vinyl flake epoxy system is a multi-step process used to achieve a durable and decorative floor coating.

Flake floors are suitable for various spaces, including garages, commercial areas, or residential interiors. The process includes preparing the floor for coating by grinding the substrate. The grinding process ensures correct adhesion, and is a vital step in why our floors stand the tests of time. Then our team move on to applying the primer and base coats. Primer is what creates a mechanical bond with the substrate, the base coat coming after, provides the base colour of your floor and becomes chemically bonded with the primer coat and finally the vinyl flake of your choice will be broadcast with full coverage. Once dry our team will scrape and remove any excess flake. To finish, our team then applies 2 coats of Polyaspartic clear topcoat, which is the key in creating a durable floor.

From start to finish the process takes anywhere from 2 to 4 days depending on the size of the area and the prep work required.
